ROASTERS
Love Roasters ...never disappoints me. Awesome food
I went to Roasters about four months ago. The ambience was ok but its the food that really made this place stand apart. We tried the steaks, chicken fingers in breadcrumbs and a chicken filled with some kind off cheesy sauce. Overall the food was of an excellent standard. The only reason for giving it four stars, not five, is that the portions seemed a little small, especially compared to Arizona grill, which charges less and seems to give more. Nice place to eat..... :)
revuew...... Roaster may be famous for its coffee but i love it for its lunch menu!
There was once a time when people used to go to Roasters for good quality coffee but now they know roasters for its lunch and dinner items. The menu at Roasters is quite limited and does not serve a myriad variety of dishes but whatever they do serve, its exquisite. great food providers
finger lickin food Good food, good value for money
The food and overall ambience is perfect for couples and families alike. Roasters is not a good value for money
I visited Roasters today with my wife for lunch hearing that there was a 50% discount available. Well, they are pretty bad frauds at that. Inside, atmosphere looks dark and cozy but not something you would loose your sleep for. We order a terguirine (?) steak for Rs.485, french fries for Rs.285 and a certain ceasar sandwich made of chicken for over 370 Rupees. French fries are good but over-priced; a disk which should be max. of Rs.85. And it is not really very hot served. Next comes ceasar sandwich which is just ok and well, also very over priced. Steak is served on a simple plate with no toppings except for an egg (an egg!!!) and 4-5 pieces of carrots. The taste is average. Waiters are not responsive and I leave a payment of Rs.1230 with Rs.10 tip and with a promise that I won't be eating here in a life time! I recommend Copper Kettle instead if you want a steak at a similar price range. For sandwiches, I really like lots of places. Don't Have Enough Words
Oh how can I forget the first time I went to this place , It was with someone very special and I was reluctant with the food cause I'd never been to this place . Upon ordering a Philly Crepe for me and A Chicken Tarragon Steak for the other person :). I absolutely love it!
I'm totally in love with the environment. I don't really care much for the staff 'coz there aint no particular person u can comment about. Once, i did have a bad encounter with the waiter as he messed u my steak even though i had very clearly mentioned how i wanted it. But then again just 'coz once i had to deal with the waiter's incompetency, doesn't really make it a not nice place... It is a VERY nice place! =) Scrumptiously Divine.....
I agree with the majority here.Roasters really has some awesome offerings. Of course it's neither perfect nor has impeccable service every single day. I guess Ameer picked a bad day for them and then ordered stuff which isn't the best there. Caesars chicken sandwich for instance is a pretty ordinary dish compared to their other offerings. Their chicken and mushroom crepe is something worth trying. Check out a detailed dissection of their offerings here: http://www.restaurants-uncut.com/2010/06/roasters-coffee-house-grill-rid...
